Since then, the Directorate has successfully introduced various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. We are pleased to inform you that the Directorate has been granted permission by the Distance Education Bureau, UGC, New Delhi to offer courses under the ODL mode. This initiative aims to facilitate learners and academic aspirants in their skill development, higher education, and career advancement. Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar (Punjab) has established the Directorate of Open & Distance Learning (ODL) in its Main Campus at Amritsar during the year 2018-19 with a vision to provide quality education to all, surpassing socio-economic and time/age barriers.
